Busy August & Three months!

With one day left of August, I am wondering where it has gone? It has flown by! We have been busy with stuff going on every weekend. First, I never posted a follow-up to Levi's neurosurgeon appointment a few weeks ago. It ended up being not a big deal at all. She said it was too early to diagnose anything right now and that if it is still a hard bump at four months, then she will see us again. She was a very nice Dr and very well educated, however, I hope we do not have to see her again!

After that appointment, it was my last day of maternity leave so I had to get everything in order. And anyone who knows me, knows this is not an easy task as I find multiple tasks within every task! Thankfully, I was able to "multi-task" with Levi.

My week was already busy going back to work and adjusting to my new schedule, but of course we have to throw in the demos at the Dakota County Fair! Thank you to everyone who helped with Levi so I could still paint with Joline and go to the demo all three nights. It was easier for Joline to just stay in town, so the kids got to come over to our house for awhile in between work and the demo. Carter of course got her time in and Charli attempted to get a pic with him, but she didn't quite understand she was blocking him :)

Levi has had two full weeks of daycare now and he is doing great. He now sleeps through the night so it is a bummer I have to wake him up to get him ready to go. It helps he is all smiles when he wakes up though and cooperates very well. He is very well greeted when he gets to daycare, I am sure all the little girls wear him right out! He is pretty laid back and just hangs out when we get home, you can tell his days are busy with excitement now.

The next weekend we were off to the cabin for the Schmidt weekend. I didn't take many pictures though, I need to get better about getting my camera out. Funny how I always had it ready when it wasn't for important things :)

Levi liked walking around with dad....

When the guys were golfing, I went to visit the Hulscher's and Mason insisted on feeding him, until his nose started itching ha..

And Grant had to show off his water skiing skills :)

Nothing else is really going on with us now. Grant starts school again next week and then we will all be super busy. We have Levi's baptism, bowling starts, Mandy and Tony's wedding at Breezy Point for a weekend, my sister's wedding... I am sure the next month will fly by as well!

Levi is three months tomorrow! He is now sucking his thumb whenever he can find it, grabbing for anything he can find, loving looking in the mirror, laying down and kicking, cooing... and being a drooly little mess :) I am thinking that teething is not too far away!

Two Months & Cabin Fun

Levi is now two months old, I hate how fast he is growing! However, I do like how he is developing his little personality. He smiles and "coos" all day long and I love it. He can lay on the floor and kick for hours, it will be fun to watch him once he is long enough for the Johnny Jumper.

We went to the cabin this last weekend and had nice weather all weekend. It might have been a little too hot, but we will take that over rain and storms. Levi got to go for his first boat ride, however, didn't last very long. He is not quite long enough for his lifejacket so we have to hold him the whole time. If we put him down it goes over his mouth and he gets very mad! I am sure when we go back in a few weeks, it will fit him just right and hopefully he can enjoy a longer time on the boat.

Levi was very busy Saturday with more company coming to see him. He loved hanging out outside and enjoying the fresh air. He even let mommy and daddy play bean bags all day(With help from everyone wanting to hold him of course!).

And Sunday, he enjoyed Grandma stroller rides! (His feet are really not that big, they look huge in this pic!)..

This week we are just hanging out and not being busy. It is my last full week home with him :( I go back to work next Tuesday and I am just working three days next week and then full time again starting the 16th. I am bummed but it has been a great summer being home with him and I am lucky to have been able to be off as long as I could be. On Monday we have his appt with the neurosurgeon so we will see what is going on with that bump. That is all for now!
